4 WAYS YOU CAN GIVE TO LIFEROOTS FOR FREE

Here at LifeROOTS, we are dedicated to empowering, serving, and shaping the lives of our community members. By donating to our organization, you are supporting early learning programs, career coaching sessions, and adult enrichment, and so much more, which provide our clients with the skills they need to succeed. Now there are plenty of ways to give a life-changing gift to LifeROOTS, but at no extra cost to you.

You can bring critical services to the children and adults of Albuquerque and Rio Rancho who need them most, even in times when money is tight. Whether you would rather shop in-store or spend time online, here are four free and simple ways you can give back to our cause.

1. Use your Smith’s Card. If you are a frequent shopper at Smith’s, then you know the advantage of having a Smith’s Card. Not only does it save you money and offer access to exclusive deals, but it can benefit our nonprofit as well. Every time you scan your card in the check-out line, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to LifeROOTS. This does not change the price of items, availability of coupons or gas prices. Remember to provide Smith’s with our NPO (nonprofit organization number): 27263.
2. Buy a bouquet from Peoples Flowers. The only thing better than receiving a fresh flower arrangement is sending one, especially when you know you’re supporting LifeROOTS. The People’s Helping Hands program was designed to give back to the community all year long. With every order, People’s will give 5% of every dollar you spend to LifeROOTS at no additional cost.
3. Fundraise through Facebook. The average person spends 40 minutes a day scrolling through Facebook, making it the perfect platform to spread the word about LifeROOTS and raise money at the same time. Create and share a page on our behalf, then keep your friends and family posted on your fundraising progress through posts and stories. 4. Shop on AmazonSmile. When you shop on smile.amazon.com, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the proceeds to our organization. On your first visit AmazonSmile, select LifeROOTS as the organization you would like to donate to. Because the site will remember your selection, every purchase will result in a donation, giving you one more reason to go online shopping.
